This gives us the freedom to speak out, challenge decisions and put the needs of wildlife first.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #000000;text-align: left\">We are a small organisation, but our track record shows that we can deliver significant change. Over the next five years, we want to build on that foundation \u2014 reaching more people, delivering more for nature and becoming an even stronger voice for Wales&#8217; wildlife.<\/p>\n                    <\/div>\n                            <\/div>\n                    <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n\n<p>Wild Cymru was formed in response to the growing need for a truly independent nature conservation organisation for Wales. An organisation that was able to speak out and challenge environmental decision makers, Government and statutory bodies to do more for Welsh wildlife. To help achieve this we undertake a wide variety of nature conservation activities, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u25cf&nbsp; Targeted species and habitat conservation projects<br>\u25cf&nbsp; Research, surveys and monitoring<br>\u25cf&nbsp; Practical habitat management and landowner advisory<br>\u25cf&nbsp; Community engagement and education<br>\u25cf&nbsp; Advocacy and campaigns<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To remain uncompromised and objective we do not seek or accept direct funding from Welsh Government or its statutory environmental body.
